Kawasan Falls in Badian Cebu Province

Kawasan Falls is located in one of the Barangay in Badian, Cebu Province.

The barangay name is  Matutinao and which is just approximately one kilo meter from the national road of Badian just a 20 minutes ride from the Badian Proper. Kawasan falls is one of the popular tourist destination in Cebu Province.

The Kawasan falls is a  three-layered waterfall series. The first waterfall is the largest and highest of the three falls. The water is cold , fresh and crystal clear, with its green scenery surroundings its rock formations with unusual shape, and the powerful noise  of its waterfalls, makes its an awesome and fascinating.

The first waterfall which is the largest and the highest among the three, is surrounded with picnics tables, food shacks. Food and refreshment in not an issue,  as there are many  food and refreshments available in the area .

Kawasan Falls is a awesome  spot on Cebu Island, at least four hours from trekking of Osmeña Peak, of Dalaguete.

Kawasan Falls has become even popular with the canyoneering down in its river.  Canyoning is great so that you can explore its natural beauty at the top and the river down.

Kawasan falls implement an entrance fee per guest in the amount of P 40 per person. Bamboo rafts which can accommodate up to 20 person is  available for P300 pesos and this raft will take you to where the  waterfalls water drops.

How to get to Kawasan Falls.

Badian can be reach by private cars ,Taxis, public buses and V- Hire. Estimated Travel time for Private and Taxis is 2 hours with an estimated fare of P3,000 to 3,500.  For V hire services you need to go to Cebu South Terminal in Cebu City and from there you can find the V-Hire bound for Badian and with an estimated travel time of 2 hours and fare estimated at P 100. Public buses is available almost every hour. Travel time of public bus is 3 hours and fare is P 150.00

At the Badian proper take a tricycle that will take you at Kawasan Falls.
