The Magnificent Hermit’s Cove can be found in the beautiful southern part of Cebu province ,the Aloguinsan.
Aloguinsan is a 4th class Municipality of Cebu Province, Philippines. It is 59 km southwest away of Cebu City. Aloguinsan is bordered to the South by the town of Barili, its north is Pinamughajan, its east border is the City of Carcar and its west is the Tañon Strait. As of 2015 census, it has the population of 32,100 people.
Hermit’s Cove the hidden paradise in Aloguisan Cebu, a coastal white beach just at the bottom of cliffs, with a magnificent view of the blue ocean, long stretch white sand beach and the verdant trees on the other side, a sight that will faint a good memory of how beautiful nature are.
Hermit’s Cove is one of the tourist spots in Cebu province very much known locally and presently slowly rising to be known internationally.
Hermit’s Cove sits at the bottom of the cliff so you need to go through a set of wooden stairs that will bring you down to the bottom, wherein the wide white beach sand is located.
As of this time, Hermit’s Cove is not yet commercialized , so don’t expect any amenities in there. No eateries and restaurant available there, but then a provision for grilling and barbecue is available. Also Overnight staying is not allowed. So advised, please buy foods and necessities in the public market before heading to the Hermit’s Cove. Also please practice “ Clean as you Go” as this is the LGU there practices
Hermit’s Cove is open 7AM till 5PM daily and implement and entrance fee of P100 per head inclusive of cottage usage.
Getting There.
Hermit’s Cove can be reached by a private car or bus travel. For traveling by Bus you need to go to Cebu Bus Terminal in N. Bacalso Avenue and take the Bus that is bound for Pinamungajan Cebu. Inform the conductor to drop you in front of The farmhouse Aloguinsan. Travel time from Cebu is 3 hours and estimated bus fare is P80.00.
