CHOCOLATE HILLS

    Chocolate Hills are the first thing that comes to mind when people hear the word Bohol. The piles of cone-shaped hills known as Chocolate Hills are located in the municipalities of Carmen, Butuan, and Sagbayan, Bohol. This hill is made up of about 1,200 piles of cones and ranges in height from 30 to 120 meters. This is one of the Philippine geological formations found in Bohol, Philippines, and is distinguished by its rich brown color and historical origins. The captivating view of the pled mountains and the breeze air has made this a popular tourist destination. This spot is perfect for taking pictures while enjoying in the hillside scenery. This demonstrates the beauty of Bohol and what it is famous for.

    BACLAYON CHURCH

    The Baclayon Church is the oldest church in the Philippines, located in Baclayon, Bohol. In 1956, a group of Jesuit missionaries was established to spread and teach Christianity to the people, and Baclayon became one of the first Catholic evangelism centers on the island. The Baclayon Church was built entirely in 1727. It was built with coral stones linked to lime mortar, with local workers contributing to its construction. In 2013, Baclayon Church was tested by a powerful earthquake that hit Bohol. Some of the church’s façade, its bell and its structures collapsed, leading to its construction and renovation. After a long construction of the church, it was reopened in 2018. The continuous openness of the church resembles the importance of the church for Bohol and its inhabitants. It is one of the tourist destinations of Bohol that are visited by visitors due to its history, architecture, and to worship in the church to find peace and grace from the Almighty.

    ALONA BEACH PANGLAO

    The beach at Alona is a beautiful 1.5 kilometer  of white sand beach, Crystal clear beautiful blue water located in Panglao Island. It is famous for it’s beautiful white sand beach and great scuba diving. Multiple Hotel and Resort, Restaurant, Dive shop can be found there. Scuba diving and island hoping is famous in that area.

    MAN MADE FOREST

    Is a 2 kilometer stretch of Mahogany trees located in the border between Bilar and Loboc  in Bohol. It is a usually stop over area when tourist traveling between the Chocolate hills to the Loboc River

    PHILIPPINE TARSIER SANCTUARY

    The Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary is well-known for serving as a home for tarsiers, which are found in Corella, Bohol, Philippines. The Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary is a branch of the Philippine Tarsier Foundation Incorporation, whose mission is to save the endangered Philippine tarsier and its natural habitat. Bohol has become well-known tourist destinations because of the various sanctuaries that uphold this idea. Even though tarsiers can be found elsewhere, Bohol uses them as one of their emblems, making them famous for this place. People who visit Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary can learn about tarsiers, see them, and take pictures of them.

    HINAGDANAN CAVE

    One of the best places to visit in Bohol is Hinagdagan Cave. This cave is situated six kilometers southwest of Tagbilaran in Dauis, Bohol.

    The lagoon’s pristine water and limestone formation are the cave’s most well-known features. The term “hinagdanan” refers to the stairs that guests must go down in order to reach the cave. This lagoon’s breathtaking atmosphere and crystal-clear, fresh water draw a lot of visitors. The family can swim there for paying 50 pesos only for entrance. Additionally, they can take use of the sunlight that enters the cave through natural perforations in the ceiling, which creates a captivating natural illumination. They can take pictures while swimming and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

    DANAO ADVENTURE PARK

    Danao Adventure Park, situated in the municipality of Danao, Bohol, is one of the parks visited by foreign and domestic tourists due to its various outdoor activities. They are the most recommended by others, especially when visiting Bohol.

    Danao Adventure Park offers different outdoor activities that visitors can try once in their lifetime. Outdoors activities like kayaking, zip lining, plunging, caving, rappelling, cliff walking and more. Price varies depending on the activities.

    To fully enjoy all of the activities, visitors need to dedicate a whole day. You will have a great time exploring this with your loved ones, partners, and friends.     BOHOL BEE FARM

    Bohol Bee Farm is a restaurant, resort, and tourism destination for those seeking a flexible and informed experience in organic farming and beekeeping.

    Vicky Wallace used this location as a beekeeping and organic farming project in the 1990s. Later, it became a restaurant and resort that many people came to explore.

    You have the opportunity to explore the area and take in the stunning farm, paintings, souvenirs, handicrafts, and more by coming to this resort.  Bohol’s rich culture, inventiveness, and craftsmanship are displayed in the paintings and handicrafts that are offered for sale at Bohol Bee Farm.

    Aside from that, you can eat at their farm-to-table restaurants, which use some locally sourced and farm-harvested ingredients.

    You can order and enjoy a variety of cuisine and snacks, including bread, salads or vegetable menus, seafood, ice cream, and more. You will satisfy your hunger while savoring the cuisine and the picturesque views of the surrounding greenery.

    LOBOC RIVER

    One of the distinctive buffet experiences is Loboc River. The Loboc River used to be a means of transportation, fishing, and agriculture for the locals, but it eventually became a tourist destination.

    While floating in the Loboc River, people can savor a variety of Filipino dishes. They can eat anything they want and take in the stunning surroundings of the river.

    People can take in live performances of Bohol entertainers and dancers showcasing traditional Filipino dances while savoring its cuisine.

    SIKATUNA MIRROR OF THE WORLD

      CAN-UMANTAD FALLS

        The Can-Umantad Falls, which are thought to be the highest fall in Bohol, are located in Cadapdap, Candijay Bohol. This stands about sixty feet tall and is encircled by enormous rocks terraces formation, tall trees, and fresh water. Families, friends, and couples will visit here to swim, have picnics, and decompress. Due to its lovely scenic views of rocks and greenery as well as the fresh water falls, this has become the most popular destination for visitors who loves water falls.
